"A better experience than I was expecting."
Check in very good and efficient. Room small but nice and ensuite very clean and spacious. Breakfast served very efficiently and was good. Good to have the option of breakfast.

Glad I had read the reviews as I knew what to expect about the late bar next door and the stairs but none of this impacted on my visit. Read less

Friendly girl that checked me in and was there for most of my stay. An assest to the place. Room nicer than expected. Breakfast good. Housekeeping good.
Dislikes:
If I had not read other reviews and was unprepared don't think I would have been too keen on the late bar in the Orange bar. But as I was aware it was my choice to go ahead with booking.

THe staff were so friendly and obliging.Free internet acccess.
Dislikes:
It would have raised the bar a few notches had the toast at breakfast been served on a separate plate and jam or marmalade offered.

Staff were exceptionally cheerful,very friendly and helpful.Hotel was in good location,breakfast excellent
Dislikes:
Intital room had no hot water but this was immediatly resolved by moving us to another room

The hotel also incorporates a restaurant and pub and is on the main road but the room was very quiet. If you do not have a car the location is good with access to local shops, trains and buses.
Dislikes:
I had the single room which was too small as it does not make the best use of the space. The breakfast menu was too restricted.

The location was excellent - right on the high street. Great staff who were very obliging and helpful.
Dislikes:
The room we had had extremely sloping floor - it was very noticable even when lying in bed! No double glazing so if you have a room at the front, like us, on a weekend you get alot of street noise.

The food and service were superb - the staff here try really hard to make your stay as pleasurable as possible.
Dislikes:
There's a bit of noise outside on a Saturday night but there's little they can do about this - best to enjoy their late night bar!
